WhoSaidWhat shows where you stand. So you know where to go.
Where did I post, what did I post, when did I post, and to whom?
I got lost.
I wanted to see the relationships. Where did I post? What did I post? What was the rating? Who was viewing?
I wanted to make sense of my Reddit experience. I wanted to turn a list of activities into a coherent story of engagement.
See where you stand. So you know where to go. WhoSaidWhat.
As a newcomer to Reddit, I found it wasn't the easiest community to figure out. Without a background in social media, I lacked the leverage of existing awareness.
My early attempts were frustrating—posts were pulled down, and I even faced bans for reasons I didn't fully understand. But I stuck with it. I read, I learned, and I began to grasp the mechanics of Karma, comments, and community engagement.
Now, nearly three months in, I participate in various tech subreddits. It's fun, informative, and filled with smart people. Reddit has made me feel definitely less solo.
It's all there. I can't find a thing. Reddit tools are great but not enough.
We need more.
We Can Build.
Together.
This is not just my problem, lots of peeps have to be bumping into this. Reddit has some useful tools, but indeed, the depth is thin. No? There's just not a robust environment to see who, what, when, where, etc. in a manner we all want to see those things. You can see what happened, but miss what connects, and what next.
If we keep pushing on what would make a genuinely useful Reddit tool — not just for one person, but for a lot of us — we could end up with something cool and useful.
This is where you come in. How are you currently making sense of your Reddit activity, and what are your glaring blind spots? Shout out what you need to see. No massive commitment required — just a willingness to talk amongst ourselves and share needs to make it easer for all of us.
Promise to keep the feedback loop, and provide transparent updates on what's doing. Let's map this out, together. We can do it.
